Rio World Cup preparations leave families homeless

Dozens of slums in Rio de Janeiro are being bulldozed to make way for sports venues and new roads for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games. Favela do MetrĂ´ resident Eomar Freitas reveals the destruction around his home. 

Homes are being torn down and pests and squatters are taking over the rubble of Favela do MetrĂ´, but hundreds of families remain with nowhere else to go
