In Greece, several villages near the Bulgarian border have been evacuated after the River Evros burst its banks.

This, as other countries including Bosnia, Hungary and Croatia battle the snow and sleet.

Bosnia is one of the countries that has been hit hardest by the cold weather in Europe.

Some communities are cut off because roads are blocked, so aid agencies are taking to the skies to deliver much-needed supplies.
